TIM McGRAW KICKS OFF ONE BAND SHOW

Last Friday, Tim McGraw & the Dancehall Doctors kicked off their One Band Show in Birmingham, Alabama, and the numbers show that the weekend's crowd was a pretty impressive one.

After Friday's show and concerts throughout the weekend -- including a performance at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo where they recorded record attendance -- the numbers people have figured out that Tim performed in front of 120,000 people.

Some fans, according to reports, were so excited to be a part of the show that they climbed up onstage, prompting one newspaper to compare fan's reactions to "shades of Elvis Presley and the Beatles."

Tim says that once he gets up on the stage, that's when he realizes how much he misses performing on a regular basis. "I don't miss it until I'm doing it. It's almost as if I've got to do a show and leave home. It's when you step up and start doing it that you realize how much you've missed it," he says.

This week, the One Band Show will perform in Nashville, Orlando, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
