Tim McGraw Kicks Off Football Season

Tim McGraw is scheduled to perform a mini-concert before the first game of the NFL’s upcoming season.

The opener is set for Sept. 10 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pa., where the Tennessee Titans will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. “I can’t wait,” Titans fan Tim tells NFL Total Access. “It makes my year! I go into depression after the Super Bowl, and it lasts till the first of September.” Tim notes that during the fall and winter he routinely attends local high-school football games as well as watching pro and college football on TV. This year he has an excuse to tune into NFL broadcasts on NBC—wife Faith Hill sings the theme song: “I can always get away with watching football on Sunday night, because I can say, “Honey, I’m just watching you!’”
