Tim McGraw jumped right in Saturday night to help The Band Perry's Neil Perry celebrate his 21st birthday.

Tim invited his Emotional Traffic Tour opening act, The Band Perry, out to sing with him on “Can’t Be Really Gone”—as he has on most tour stops—but Saturday night, Tim led the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” for Neil.

Backstage, Tim sent over a cake to Neil, who also got cupcakes from big sister Kimberly and their songwriter friend Jeff Cohen.

“I’ve never been ‘forced’ to eat so many cakes in a day,” Neil said in a statement. “It was one to remember. And I’m legal!”
