Not even NBC Today show anchor Matt Lauer can get Tim McGraw to fess up on whether he's making a movie with Beyoncé.

Tim appeared on the show to plug upcoming movie Dirty Girl, but anchors quickly pressed him on rumors that he might co-star in a remake of A Star Is Born, which starred Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand in the 1976 version and Judy Garland and James Mason in the original 1954 movie.

“I do a pretty good Streisand,” Tim joked.

“It’s certainly something that would be a lot of fun. I’m a big Beyoncé fan, I’m a big Clint Eastwood fan. He’s the director.”

Asked on a scale of 1 to 10 if he’d be in the film, which is shooting next year (after Beyoncé has her baby), Tim responded:

“I’m not gonna put a number on it. I don’t want to jinx myself. . . . No, it’s not been offered officially.”
