There’s something about this Bruce Springsteen fella and country music.

Taylor Swift posed backstage with him; Kenny Chesney covered Bruce’s “One Step Up”; heck, Eric Church even had a hit called “Springsteen.”

Now we can count Tim McGraw among the Bruuuce fans.

Tim had a chance to play for Bruce during a Grammys charity tribute to Springsteen last year, and Tim and Bruce will both be appearing at the NCAA March Madness Music Festival in Dallas next month.

Tim tells Nashville.com:

“He’s one of the coolest guys I’ve ever been around and proud to count him as a friend. Musically, he’s an American treasure. I think he’s one of those icons of music that rarely comes along that, you look back through history and there’s only a handful of ’em and he’s certainly one of those guys that’s inspired so many people.”
