Tim McGraw is riding high with his new single, “Truck Yeah,” a shout-out to the small-town country lifestyle. When the “Truck Yeah” video made its premiere, it was no surprise that it featured plenty of trucking action and freewheeling fun. Garrett Hedlund, who starred with Tim in the movies Friday Night Lights and Country Strong, makes an appearance in the video, which features a number of buff guys having a good time just trucking around.

Tim and crew filmed the clip in Chattanooga, Tenn., at the former U.S. Pipe and Foundry factory. And the star raves that the video captures the energy and essence of the song. “The theme of this song is pretty straightforward,” Tim noted in a statement. “It’s for guys and girls who love jacked-up trucks. It’s a culture, and you don’t have to be from the sticks and only listen to country music to want to drive a truck. That’s why I love the reference to [rap artist ] Lil Wayne in the lyrics.”

Tim obviously enjoyed being on the video set and messing around with a truck himself. “We had a blast making it!” he says.
