TIM & FAITH NEW ORLEANS BENEFIT TONIGHT

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill perform their long-awaited charity concert to help hurricane victims Wednesday night, July 5, in New Orleans.

The couple will kick off the day by hosting a charity luncheon with celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse at Emeril’s Restaurant in New Orleans, where he will cook for 120 guests. Net proceeds will go to Tim and Faith’s Neighbor’s Keeper Foundation to continue efforts with hurricane recovery and the rebuilding of the Gulf Coast region. Ticket sales from tonight’s show at the New Orleans Arena, part of Tim and Faith’s Soul2Soul II Tour, will also be contributed to the Foundation. The tour continues after Tim had to cancel dates July 1 in Cleveland and July 2 in Charleston, W. Va., after a bout with bronchitis. The Cleveland show has been rescheduled for July 30.

In other Tim and Faith news, the two superstars will be part of Anderson Cooper 360 Wednesday night, July 5, on CNN, at 10 p.m. ET. The installment, titled “American Heroes: Giving Back to the Gulf,” follows Tim and Faith on a tour of St. Bernard Parish and the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans.
