Tim & Faith Keep the Music Playing

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill entertained fans in Chicago until the early morning hours at their “Bread & Water” show at the House of Blues, July 13.

Tim and Faith hosted the show following their Soul2Soul 2007 Tour stop at Chicago’s United Center. The special show was announced over radio station WUSN that morning, and fan lines immediately began forming in front of the House of Blues. By show time, hundreds of fans had to be turned away. Tim performed the Steve Miller pop hit “The Joker,” then was joined by comedian, and Chicago native, Jim Belushi on harmonica. Faith did a medley of Aretha Franklin tunes, followed by a stirring rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” The “Bread & Water” shows were started by Tim in 2000 as intimate club gigs that allow performers to do different types of material. Proceeds from the Chicago show will benefit the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls of Chicago and Tim and Faith’s Neighbor’s Keeper Foundation.
