TIM & FAITH: COUNTRY’S TOP TOUR

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul II Tour now stands as the highest-grossing country music tour of all time, and is currently the most-attended tour of 2006 in all musical genres.

Soul2Soul II took in $89 million, beating the previous high mark set last year by Kenny Chesney. The list of the tour’s accomplishments does not stop there. Tim and Faith became the only country act to ever sell out three consecutive nights at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and also sold out New York’s Madison Square Garden for two straight nights. “We have been blessed over the past several months to have the opportunity to do what it is that we love to do most,” said Tim and Faith in a joint statement. “It’s an experience that could be difficult to replicate.”
