TIM, FAITH, CARRIE WIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

Tim McGraw, Tim’s wife Faith Hill and Carrie Underwood were among the big winners at the 2006 American Music Awards, Tuesday, Nov. 21.

Tim won the award for Favorite Album in the Country category for his Greatest Hits Volume 2 CD, while Faith was named Favorite Female Artist in the Country category. Carrie won Favorite New Breakthrough Artist, which covers all genres of music. Other country winners included Toby Keith as Favorite Male artist and Rascal Flatts, who took both the T-Mobile Text-In Award, voted on by the public, and Favorite Band, Duo or Group.
