TIM, FAITH AND FRIENDS PLAY SWAMPSTOCK

Tim McGraw’s Swampstock benefit concert returned to Louisiana Sat., Oct. 7, with wife Faith Hill, Martina McBride and more stars pitching in.

Tim and Faith were married during the Swampstock festival ten years ago on Oct. 6. The event was cancelled last year because of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, but returned to Rayville, La., with the two Swampstock standards: the celebrity softball game and all-star concert, which included Hot Apple Pie and The Warren Brothers. In thanking the sellout crowd for its support, Faith said, “I don’t really know how to go about saying thank you for coming out, but just look around at the fruits of your labor,” reports the Shreveport [La.] Times. “It always makes your heart feel bigger to do something for others.” The event benefits the local baseball league and other charities.
