Tim, Def Leppard Team Up with NBA
Tim McGraw’s collaboration with English rockers Def Leppard, “Nine Lives,” has become the featured opening track for NBA basketball games airing on ABC-TV.
Exclusive new video footage was shot with both artists for a special opening segment, which premiered before the March 9 NBA game between the San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns. Tim performs on “Nine Lives” with the iconic English band, known for ’80s hits like “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Rock of Ages.” The track is from Def Leppard’s latest album, Songs from the Sparkle Lounge, the band’s first release of new material since 2002.
