Tim and Faith’s Vegas Run Is Built Around Their Kids’ Activities

Country music's takeover of Las Vegas has begun.

Yes, Garth Brooks has ended his three-year run there, but Shania Twain just launched her shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

And Friday night (Dec. 7), Tim McGraw and Faith Hill launch Soul2Soul, Vegas style, at The Venetian, which is hosting several wounded military veterans and their families for the show's opening.

Like Garth, Tim and Faith have scheduled show dates around their kids' activities.

"I know this is really hard to believe, but literally The Venetian has the school schedule," Faith told reporters recently.

"Honestly, we spend 70 percent of our time right now in our management company figuring out our kids' schedule. Working around that schedule. It's crazy!"

Maybe not so much, at least when it comes to Tim. "Now, she said all of you who are parents," he said, "but all of you who are husbands and have wives know that I didn't spend 70 percent of my time in front of the schedule. She does!"

Tickets are on sale now for Soul2Soul, which runs on select weekends through April 2013.
