Tim’s New Single Features Faith

Tim McGraw’s new single, his duet with wife Faith Hill on “I Need You,” is being released to radio stations around the country.

“I Need You” becomes the second single from Tim’s No. 1 album Let It Go, following “Last Dollar (Fly Away).” The first time Tim and Faith performed the song together was on Tim’s NBC-TV special last year. Tim tells Neil Haislop’s Nashville IQ, “Faith didn’t even know the song—[during rehearsals] she had the lyrics on a piece of paper on the floor.” The couple also included the song on their Soul2Soul II Tour in 2006. “We sang it on tour acoustically,” says Tim, “and it’s hard to find songs to do as a duet that aren’t cheesy or don’t offer much as a duet song.”
