TIM’S MOVIE PREMIERES IN L.A.

Tim McGraw and wife Faith Hill attended the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Flicka Wednesday night, Oct. 18, and later talked about his role as the father in the film.

Tim told Westwood One that his Flicka character, Rob McLaughlin, proved easier to play than the father he portrayed in his film debut, Friday Night Lights. “The load that Rob was carrying as a dad and rancher and husband . . . and [dealing] with what he sees happening with the ranch . . . made it easy to look at where he was coming from,” Tim observed. Tim added that he drew from his perspective as the father of three girls in the emotional scene where his on-screen daughter, played by Alison Lohman, battles a dangerously high fever. Flicka premieres nationwide Friday, Oct. 20, and to help promote the film, Tim will make appearances on NBC’s Today show and Live With Regis & Kelly on Friday.
