Tim’s Australian Tour a Family Affair

This September, Tim McGraw will travel Down Under for his first tour of Australia, but he won't be going alone. “We’re making a family vacation out of it, so that will be fun," Tim told reporters during a press conference at the CMA Music Festival. "I’m also a new pilot, so I’ve got a plane reserved already and I’m gonna [fly] solo out over the Outback.”

Meanwhile, outdoorsy daughter Maggie Elizabeth is ready to meet some deadly creatures. “Her dream is to go in a shark cage off the Barrier Reef to see some great white [sharks]," he said. "She’s getting certified this summer so we can go down there in a shark cage and see a great white.”

During the press conference, Tim also mentioned that although he and 42-year-old wife Faith Hill have considered adopting a child, it's not in the cards at the moment. “You know, you think about it from time to time, but to tell you the truth, our hands are full right now," the 43-year-old father of three said. "I couldn’t imagine adding one more to the plate.”

Tim will host CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock on ABC, which is set to air on Sept. 1.
