Three Acts Band to Battle Cancer

The members of Little Texas and Restless Heart are joining Henry Paul and BlackHawk for the Triple Threat Dinner & Auction, Sept. 21, in Spokane, Wash, to raise funds to fight cancer.

The three acts, currently traveling together on the Triple Threat Tour, are hosting the event to benefit the Van Stephenson Memorial Cancer Research Fund.

The charity was formed to honor the last wishes of former BlackHawk member Van Stephenson, who helped form the original band with Henry Paul and Dave Robbins, after he lost his battle with melanoma cancer in 2001. BlackHawk has held several Dinner & Auction events in the past, where fans are invited to have dinner with the band members before a concert and bid on special band auction items.

”We’re getting help from Little Texas and Restless Heart at our Spokane, Washington, Triple Threat date this year,” notes Henry. “It’s our first multiple group dinner and auction, and we are quite excited about it.” For more information on the event, go to blackhawkmusic.us or contact Lori Stefans at 414-430-5674.
