This week, Keifer and Shawna Thompson—better known as hot duo Thompson Square—kicked off their new headlining 2014 Just Feels Good Tour.

The trek got underway Thursday (Feb. 6) with a show in Jackson, Calif. The concert was nothing short of successful, leaving the husband and wife excited to see what future dates will bring.

“That crowd was insane,” Keifer tells Country Weekly. “It was just a lot of fun. I tell you what . . . if [that] night was any indication of what the rest of the year’s going to be like, it’s going to be amazing.”

The tour was named after Thompson Square’s sophomore album, which has already spawned two hit singles, “If I Didn’t Have You” and “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About.” The headlining shows are not only giving the duo a chance to play all the hits, including their first, 2010’s “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not,” but also the album cuts that have quickly become fan favorites.

“We’re able to showcase all of our songs and just do our music,” notes Keifer. “We’re just getting back to that mind-set of, we wrote these songs and we recorded these songs, so let’s play these songs,” he continues, laughing. “That’s what we’re doing. I can’t explain how excited we are for this tour. There are so many cool elements to the production, so it’s a whole different level."

Next week, the Just Feels Good Tour has stops in California and Las Vegas. Check out a complete list of confirmed dates by visiting thompsonsquare.com.
