There’s One Thing Zac Brown Doesn’t Get About Rock Music
“I can’t understand anything that they’re saying,” he said.

Zac Brown Band fans know that the group's music is like Donny & Marie—a little bit country, a little bit rock 'n' roll.
That's particularly evident on the new album, Uncaged. But make no mistake: ZBB is country, all the way.
And lead singer Zac Brown recently gave reporters one reason why.
"There's a lot of great rock music that has a great vibe," Zac said, "and I can't understand anything that they're saying."
Ha!
"I still like it a lot, but the great stories live around country and folk music, and I think the challenge is taking that same lyric and story that's in that song and wrapping it up in something that's going to move all those people the same way that those rock songs do. And I think we've done a little bit of that on this record."
