Taylor's Birthday Celebration—Back to the Studio

At least her record label provided a birthday cake break on her big day.

So what does a worldwide music superstar do to celebrate her 22nd birthday?

Why, make more music, of course!

Taylor spent most of the day Tuesday (Dec. 13) in a studio to work on her next album, but there was at least one break, provided by her record label, to eat some cake.

And Taylor did manage to add a splash of color to her workday. She posted a pic of some new colorful shoes propped up on a mixing board: “Studio/birthday/new album/red shoes.”

What else could a girl ask for? Besides maybe more than 25,000 birthday comments on her Facebook page?

"Best. Birthday. Ever," she tweeted early Wednesday morning (Dec. 14). "Thank you for all the birthday wishes. You made me feel really special today :) :) :)"
