Taylor Tops Forbes Celebrity 100

While Oprah Winfrey is No. 1 on the new Forbes Celebrity 100 list, besting last year's No. 1, Angelina Jolie, country music is well represented on the tally, which includes film and television actors, models, athletes, authors, musicians and comedians.

Taylor Swift comes in at No. 12 on the Celebrity 100, Kenny Chesney is No. 54, Rascal Flatts ranks No. 62, Toby Keith is No. 67 and Keith Urban debuts at No. 76.

The Celebrity 100 is a measure of entertainment-related earnings and media visibility (exposure in print, television, radio, online and social media). The earnings consist of pre-tax income between June 1, 2009, and June 1, 2010.

To the surprise of no one, it was a big year for Taylor, who ranked No. 69 on the 2009 list. Her new ranking makes her the only country artist whose rank increased from year to year. Rascal Flatts ranked No. 42 a year ago, Kenny is down from No. 31 and Toby came in at No. 59 on last year's tally.

Other country-related notables on the 2010 list are Miley Cyrus, who came in behind Taylor at No. 13, and comedian/ventriliquist Jeff Dunham, who ranked No. 93.

Carrie Underwood, who appeared on last year's list at No. 75, did not appear on the new list.
