Taylor Swift is nominated for a 2008 Teen Choice Award for Breakout Artist in the Music category.

The awards will be handed out in the FOX-TV special, Teen Choice 2008, airing Monday, Aug. 4, at 8 p.m. ET. Teen sensation Miley Cyrus, star of the hit Disney Channel series Hannah Montana, will host the show. Teen Choice Awards are voted on by fans ages 13–19 at teenchoiceawards.com. Voting ends Aug. 1.
