Give Taylor Swift's new cat, Meredith, credit—she knows how important it is for her owner to win the Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year award.
In a hilarious new video posted on YouTube, Meredith, whom Taylor took in last fall, seems to agree with everything her owner says when it comes to the big honor.
In particular, Meredith's ears perk up when she hears that the Entertainer of the Year award is fan-voted. "Meow," she replies before licking her lips.
"Good talk," Taylor tells the cat in conclusion.
The Academy of Country Music Awards take place April 1 in Las Vegas and will air on CBS. Fan voting in both the Entertainer and New Artist categories is now open at voteacm.com.
