So Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw were the country winners at the People’s Choice Awards, though neither were there. Taylor got Favorite Country Artist and Tim got Favorite Country Music Icon.

The country artist who was there, holding it down for the genre—Brad Paisley.

He did a high-energy performance of his latest single, “The Mona Lisa.”

But that’s not all: Brad also was a small part of the opening monologue with show hosts Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs from the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls.

Pretending the hosts were in character as the waitresses they play on the show, Brad stood up and complained that he hadn’t received the burger and fries he’d ordered.
