Taylor Swift in the Running for Les Misérables Film Role

Taylor set to vie against Lea Michele, Evan Rachel Wood and Scarlett Johansson

Taylor Swift might soon land another, more coveted big-screen role in the film adaptation of Les Misérables—that is, if she can beat out Hollywood heavyweights including Scarlett Johansson, Glee's Lea Michele and Evan Rachel Wood, the New York Post reports. Taylor previously had a role in the 2010 movie Valentine's Day opposite Taylor Lautner.

According to reports, each contender has auditioned for the role of Eponine already—and Lea Michele just might have a leg up on the competition, seeing that she portrayed Young Cosette in the Broadway production of the play.

Should she be awarded the role, Taylor would be joining an all-star cast; actors Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne and Geoffrey Rush have already signed on for the film.
