Taylor Swift Is a Role Model

She will appear on 60 Minutes.

Taylor Swift takes her status as a role model seriously.

“I definitely think about a million people when I’m getting dressed in the morning,” Taylor tells Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes on a show that will air Sunday (Nov. 20).

“That’s just part of my life now,” Taylor says. “I think it’s my responsibiltiy to know it and be conscious of it. It would be really easy to say, ‘I’m 21 now. I do what I want. You raise your kids.’ But that’s not the truth of it. Every singer with songs out there on the radio is raising the next generation, so make your words count.”

The episode will also feature footage from Taylor's Speak Now World Tour, as well as a glimpse inside her Nashville condominum.
