Taylor Swift Lands Two Teen Choice Awards, but Her Ex Gets More

Harry Styles also gets two trophies, but his boy band, One Direction, gets four more awards on top of that.

Listen, it’s nice to get fan-voted awards of any kind. And we would never be petty enough to compare how many Teen Choice Awards Taylor Swift got Sunday night (Aug. 11) to how many her ex Harry Styles picked up.

But if someone were to do that, well, let’s just say that, uh, Harry won.

Taylor, who wasn’t there for the awards show, got trophies for Choice Female Country Artist and Choice Country Song for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

So Harry also picked up two trophies, one for Choice Male Hottie, the other for Choice Smile.

And Harry’s group, One Direction, went on to pick up another four trophies, including one for Choice Summer Tour.

That gives Harry a total of six trophies to Taylor’s two. Then again, Taylor has performed with The Rolling Stones, so she wins. Uh, not that it’s a contest or anything . . .

Other country winners:

  • Choice Male Country Artist—Hunter Hayes
  • Choice Country Group—Lady Antebellum

Congrats to all!
