Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney Finish in Top 10 Grossing Tours of 2011

Jason Aldean and Toby Keith round out Top 25, according to numbers from Billboard Boxscore.

It's incredible that Taylor Swift grossed nearly $100 million on the road this year.

More incredible still, she didn't come close to having the top-grossing tour of the year. In fact, she finished fifth, and Kenny Chesney's $84.6 million on-road receipts for 2011 put him at sixth on Billboard's Boxscore list of top-grossing tours of the year.

Turns out veteran Irish rock band U2 pulled in nearly $300 million for the top spot, and Jennifer Nettles' "Who Says You Can't Go Home" duet partner Jon Bon Jovi led his rock band to second place, by bringing in $193 million.

Third place goes to British boy band Take That with $185 million in receipts, and British rocker Roger Waters, a founding member of Pink Floyd, grossed $150 million in 2011, good for fourth place.

There are no country acts between spots No. 6 and No. 24, where we find Jason Aldean, with nearly $28 million grossed on the road. Right behind him at No. 25 is Toby Keith at just over $27 million made in concert in 2011.
