Taylor Swift Cuts Hilarious Promo for MTV Awards Show

“Really, Taylor, for the last time, stop writing songs about me!” comedian/show host Kevin Hart huffs.

We told you this week that Taylor Swift will perform on the MTV Video Music Awards Sept. 6.

And now Taylor—well known for writing songs about ex-boyfriends—is in a funny new promo with VMA show host/comedian Kevin Hart.

In it, Taylor is strumming her guitar backstage when Kevin storms in and says, "Really, Taylor, for the last time, stop writing songs about me!"

"This is not about you at all," says Taylor, looking startled.

"Oh, it's not about me? I just made it up?" Kevin says, before eventually pulling out a picture of Taylor and Jake Gyllenhaal—with Jake's face cut out and Kevin's glued in.

Check out the rest for lots more good lines.

The MTV VMAs air Sept. 6.
