“I still can’t believe I . . . shot all my scenes with Jeff Bridges,” she said. “It was unreal.”

Taylor Swift just finished filming her part in upcoming movie The Giver, which co-stars Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges and Katie Holmes.

And she's still amazed that she got to be in a movie with huge Hollywood A-listers who have lots of trophies, Taylor told Access Hollywood.

“I couldn’t believe it was happening to me,” Taylor said.

"I still can’t believe I shot in South Africa and shot all my scenes with Jeff Bridges. It was unreal."

Taylor says she did work hard.

"It was a lot of preparation and getting into character and all that,” Taylor added. “But it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Honestly.”

Nothing beats experience, she says.

“It’s crazy how educational just getting into a situation and doing it [is].You learn so much more, because I have taken acting classes and read as much as I possibly can on it and done theater before all this started, [but] you learn more by actually doing it than you could ever learn in preparation.”

The Giver comes out in August.
