Taylor Swift and Carly Simon Sing Together in Boston

“We moved together and apart, it was dramatic . . . it was great!” Carly says.

By now, you have have heard that Taylor Swift racked up another pop/rock legend in her collection of concert collaborators.

Carly Simon joined Taylor Saturday night (July 27) for a performance of Carly’s classic “You’re So Vain” at Gillette Stadium, where the New England Patriots play football.

And the two released a video afterward, complete with performance clip and interview. In it, Taylor calls “You’re So Vain” the best song ever written.

“That is the most direct way that anyone has ever addressed a breakup. It’s amazing!” Taylor said.

As for Carly, well, she had a good time onstage with Tay Tay.

“It was just so wonderful that I just wanna do it again!” Carly said. “[Taylor] was so great and she really led me through the, my own song. She was just so loving of the whole thing. . . . We moved together and apart, it was dramatic . . . it was great!”
