Some folks were wondering who that guy was in the crowd that Taylor kept hugging when she racked up three wins Sunday (Nov. 20) at the American Music Awards.

But her fans know that's her brother, Austin, her occasional date to these awards shows.

Taylor was glad that her bro was next to her when she picked up another AMA trophy for the top prize, artist of the year.

“It really was wonderful that my brother was here to see that,” Taylor told Access Hollywood backstage.

“He’s usually at college. He goes to college and just lives a completely different life than me,” Taylor said. “To take him into my world for a second, it made me feel really good to be winning.”
