Taylor to Play CMA Awards Show

Count grace among Taylor Swift’s many attributes. There was much grumbling that Taylor didn’t get a nomination for entertainer of the year for this year’s Country Music Association Awards, but she will perform on the awards show, which takes place Nov. 10 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, airing live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

For her part, Taylor says she doesn't take awards nominations for granted. "Because I won last year doesn't mean I have a guaranteed slot in the Entertainer of the Year category forever," she tells Country Weekly in an exclusive cover story appearing in the Nov. 1 issue, on newsstands this weekend. "I was shocked when I got nominated for Female Vocalist."

She’ll join previously announced performers Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts (also big stars with no Entertainer of the Year nomination) as well as Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and others.
