Taylor Gives Shout-Out to Chaperone Dads

Creates tribute song to those who bring their kids to her shows.

Taylor Swift knows that there are parents who might rather be somewhere else than with a group of girls at her concerts. And Taylor gave them a shout-out on an Australian TV show recently.

“They’re holding the signs that their teenage daughters have made,” Taylor tells hosts Hamish Blake and Andy Lee of Hamish & Andy. “And their daughters have held up the glittery signs for the first half of the show, but then they’re like, ‘Dad, hold this!’ And then they’ve got glitter all over their khaki pants and plaid shirts. But they're doing the right thing!”

The hosts then whipped out instruments, and all three made up a tribute song to chaperone dads.

Taylor’s first line: You just got off of work, the last thing you wanna do is go and listen to me talk about some breakup.
