The proceeds came from Taylor’s merchandise sales during her appearance at CMA Music Festival, Saturday, June 7. The donation will be used to benefit both the Local Disaster Relief Fund in Middle Tennessee as well as the National American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The funds will also be used nationally to provide immediate emergency assistance to victims of disaster. “Taylor’s generous donation will be used to help her neighbors in Middle Tennessee and also across the country when the next disaster strikes,” says Colleen Zakrewsky, CEO, Nashville Area Red Cross. “Taylor is a role model for young adults everywhere who want to help prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies and we are honored she chose the American Red Cross as the recipient of these funds.”
