Taylor Donates Her Birthday Truck

Taylor Swift will make a special presentation to the Victory Junction Gang Camp during her performance at Sprint Sound & Speed Presented by SunTrust, Jan. 12—the pink pickup truck she received for her 18th birthday.

Taylor will be appearing at the third annual Sprint Sound & Speed in Nashville, an event that combines country music with NASCAR, Jan. 11 and 12. She and other stars, including Josh Turner, Craig Morgan and top NASCAR drivers like Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and Richard Petty, will be attending autograph sessions for fans. Taylor then joins Alan Jackson, Jason Michael Carroll and The Wrights for the Jan. 12 concert at Nashville's Sommet Center. "My label was so awesome to give me this amazing truck for my birthday. The moment I saw it in all its pink glory, I knew the kids at the Victory Junction Camp would love it," said Taylor. Kyle Petty, who founded the camp along with his wife Pattie, noted that, "Pattie and I were completely surprised by her donation of her bright pink truck. The kids are going to love it." Tickets for Sprint Sound & Speed Presented by SunTrust are available through ticketmaster.com and soundandspeed.org.
