Taylor Closes Tour With Goo Goo Doll, Selena Gomez, James Taylor

“Performing at Madison Square Garden with my best friend was a highlight,” Selena tweeted after.

Taylor Swift fans knew it was coming—she and bestie/Disney TV star Selena Gomez just had to perform together on the Speak Now Tour. And they did, on the very last night, Tuesday (Nov. 22), doing a duet of Selena's “Who Says,” a song that every parent of a preteen has burned into his or her brain.

But those parents got a real treat too at New York's Madison Square Garden: Taylor was joined by James Taylor for a performance of his classic “Fire and Rain.” J.T. also played guitar while Taylor performed her hit "Fifteen."

Making that all the more special is the fact that Taylor is named after James Taylor.

For Selena, the night was magic.

“Performing at Madison Square Garden with my best friend was a highlight. Congratulations Taylor on Speak Now Tour!! Love you,” Selena tweeted.

On Monday night, the first New York show, Taylor brought out Johnny Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls, and the two sang “Iris” together.

Taylor tweeted only one word to describe that duet: "Crazy!"
