Taylor began the show with a parody tune in which she referenced some of her high-profile incidents of the past year, including the controversy with Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards. She also took part in several comedy sketches, with one spoofing reality TV star Kate Gosselin. Taylor’s musical numbers featured her hit, “You Belong With Me,” and a new song, “Untouchable.”
