Taylor to Be Part of MTV “Restore the Shore” Special

“I’m sending all my love and support to all the people in New Jersey,” Taylor says in a video.

You might recall that Taylor Swift spent her early, early years growing up in southeastern Pennsylvania. And most everyone in that area ends up at the Jersey Shore for at least one or two weekends every summer.

So it's no surprise that Taylor will be part of the MTV Restore the Shore special airing at 11 p.m. ET this Thursday (Nov. 15). And Taylor even made a video to support the special.

"As a kid, I spent my summers at the Shore, and I have so many amazing memories for that time in my life,” Taylor says. “So I'm sending all my love and support to all the people in New Jersey who suffered through Hurricane Sandy.”

Looking for a double shot of Tay Tay that night? She is also set to sing her song "State of Grace" on the Fox show The X Factor, which airs at 8 p.m. ET. Let's hope Simon Cowell is nice to her.
