Taylor Bakes to Celebrate Single Release

Swift, Taylor

Taylor Swift scored huge at iTunes last week with the release of the title track of her new album, Speak Now, selling an amazing 85,600 copies in the first day.

Oops, she did it again. (Wait, wrong artist.) At midnight last night, iTunes released the third single, “Back to December,” from the yet-to-be-released album.

And Taylor celebrated in the kitchen.

“Baking pumpkin spice cookies with cream cheese icing because I'm very excited. Because a new song is coming out on iTunes at midnight!” Taylor tweeted.

Overnight reviews on iTunes were outstanding, with most consumers rated it five out of five stars. The adjective most used to describe the new single: “Beautiful.” “Epic” also made an appearance several times.

No word on the quality of the pumpkin spice cookies with cream cheese. But that sounds, well, epic.
