Taylor-Authorized Source Dishes on Breakup With Harry

Taylor Swift never discusses details of her dating life—but she picked a friend to talk to Vanity Fair about her split with boy band star Harry Styles.

And the friend painted a picture of One Direction's Harry as a girl-crazy guy who didn't respect Taylor or pay enough attention to her. Harry's rep told the magazine that Taylor's friend's claims are "undeniably false."

Taylor's friend told the magazine that Harry "chased" Taylor for a year, and that he "wore her down."

The relationship eventually fell apart when Harry texted her to tell her about a picture that popped up on the Internet of Harry and another girl. Harry told Taylor he was simply kissing a friend goodbye. But Taylor's friend said the pic showed Harry and the girl "making out like with their hands all up in each other's hair."

Then Harry spent many months trying to get back together with Tay Tay, the friend said, and the two eventually reconnected. "But the whole time she says she feels like he's looking at every girl."

In that same story, Taylor responded to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who poked fun at Taylor's love life onstage at the Golden Globes.

"You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people," Taylor says. "Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'"

And there you go.
