Did ya catch the Golden Globe Awards? Michael J. Fox's 23-year-old son, Sam, was handing out trophies. And host Tina Fey joked: "You know what, Taylor Swift? You stay away from Michael J. Fox's son."
Turns out that Michael J. Fox feels the same way. Michael told New York magazine that he would not approve of a Taylor-Sam romance.
"I don't keep up with it at all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?" he asked. "What a way to build a career."
The comments riled up Taylor's ardent fans, but their hero calmed them down with a tweet Friday afternoon (Jan. 18) saying that she and the Back to the Future actor patched things up:
"Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back."
