Taylor’s Owl City Crush Takes Flight?

Looks like Taylor Swift caught the attention of pop group Owl City’s Adam Young by—what else?—writing and cutting a song for him.

Taylor has strongly hinted that her romantic ballad “Enchanted” on the Speak Now album is about Adam, and she even capitalized the letters A-D-A-M in the lyric booklet with the CD.

So, on Saturday, Adam tells Taylor on the Owl City website that he, in fact, “was enchanted to meet you too,” and recorded his own version of the song.

“I’ll be the first to admit I’m a rather shy boy and since music is the most eloquent form of communication I can muster, I decided to record something for you—a sort of a ‘reply’ to the breathtaking song on your current record,” he wrote.

“You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale, and above all, I just want you to know . . . I was enchanted to meet you too.”

Wow! Publicity stunt or true crush—you decide.

No response yet from Taylor, who is on a tour of Asia now.
