Sugarland is joining some rock and pop acts to be part of a big VH1 salute to the troops—a salute with female flair.

Sugarland and Paramore are both female-fronted acts that join pop star Katy Perry and R&B singers Keri Hilson and Nicki Minaj for a special called VH1 Divas Salute the Troops.

The big show happens at a Marine Corps base in San Diego, but pop-punk band Paramore’s segment will be filmed at an undisclosed military base in the Middle East.

The special debuts at 9 p.m. EST Dec. 5.
