Sugarland CMA Trophies Vandalized—by Crayons

Sugarland is up for its sixth Duo of the Year trophy at the CMA Awards Thursday night (Nov. 1)—and Kristian Bush says that might mean another blank canvas for his kids.

In the past, Kristian's son had some fun with Daddy's second CMA trophy, the (mostly) proud father tells ABC Radio News.

"'Tucker was like, 'That's a rocket, dad! Can I play with your rocket?' And I saw crayon stuff on it, and I was trying to wipe it off," Kristian said. '"Oh geez, Tucker. Do not. If you hit a Sharpie on that thing, I'm gonna get you, my little one.'"

Now, Kristian keeps his CMA Awards trophies in his home studio, along with some other meaningful keepsakes: Kristian's favorite Chewbacca mug and a Ripley's Believe It or Not book.

Look for an in-depth interview with Kristian about his start in the music business in an upcoming issue of Country Weekly.
