Strange But True: “Duck Dynasty” Family Christmas Album Is Out

Even Uncle Si’s first reaction was, “Have you lost your mind?”

It’s out now: Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas is, uh, flying off the shelves?

The stars of A&E's hit TV show Duck Dynasty got themselves some legit country stars—George Strait, Luke Bryan and Josh Turner—to contribute tracks, and the Robertson family did the rest.

Original songs include “Ragin’ Cajun Redneck Christmas,” “Hairy Christmas” and “Camouflage and Christmas Lights.”

Even Uncle Si can’t believe it’s happening.

“Look, when they came and Willie said, ‘Hey look, we’re going to do a Christmas album,’ and I looked at him,” Uncle Si told reporters recently.

“I said, ‘Willie, have you lost your mind? There’s only one person in our family that can sing and that’s Missy. Ok? And you’re talking about the whole family is going to get there and sing, and we’re going to make an album and actually try to get people to pay money to hear us butcher a song? Have you lost your mind?’”
