Keith Urban fans who have been wondering how he and wife Nicole Kidman came up with the name Sunday Rose for their daughter now have the answer.

Keith and Nicole’s daughter was born Monday, July 7, in Nashville. People magazine has confirmed that the child was named after Sunday Reed, the muse that inspired artist Sidney Nolan. Keith and Nicole reportedly attended one of Nolan's exhibits in January. Nicole's father, Antony, told Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph, "I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John – she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the [20th] century. The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it." The baby's middle name comes from Keith’s late grandmother Rose.
