Stevie Nicks to Be Godmother of Hillary Scott’s Baby?

The latest CMT Crossroads pairs Lady Antebellum and Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks—and Lady A couldn't be more thrilled.

The taping happened Tuesday night (Jan. 29) in Los Angeles, and Lady A's Hillary Scott was pumped about a conference call beforehand with Stevie Nicks. After that call, a pregnant Hillary told reporters that she had an idea for her husband.

“I really kinda want her to be the honorary godmother of our child,” Hillary said, laughing. “She [Stevie] was just this amazing presence and person to talk to.”

For Lady A’s Charles Kelley, the taping brought his Fleetwood Mac love full circle.

Charles first discovered Fleetwood Mac at age 10, in his parents’ record collection.

“I went down and found some records of my mom’s and would play them and Rumours was one that I just was like, ‘Oh my gosh. Who in the world are these guys?’” he said.

“Just played it over and over in my room. I would play that over and over.”

There is no airdate yet for the Lady A/Stevie Nicks Crossroads episode.
