Stephen Cochran to Visit Troops

Rising new star Stephen Cochran, a decorated veteran, will return to Iraq, Dec. 26, to perform for American troops.

Stephen, who has recorded the song “When a Hero Falls” in tribute to the troops, will also perform for more than 800 vets at the National Capital Region Army Medical Department Holiday Ball in Greenbelt, Md., Dec. 19. He plans to visit wounded warriors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where he was also a patient after being wounded in battle. “The last time I was in Iraq I was in a uniform with a weapon, and I've been working toward this trip for four years now,” says Stephen. “It’s a lonely time over there for the troops, and I’m glad we’re going to get to play for the men and women who really need us.”
