Steel Magnolia Wins Duet Title

The duo of Steel Magnolia was named the winner of CMT’s talent series, Can You Duet, on the season finale, Saturday night, Aug. 8.

The season came down to a pair of finalists, JB Rocket, comprised of Jonathan Cox and Brandon Green, and Steel Magnolia, Meghan Linsey and Josh Jones. The show's judges, Naomi Judd, Big Kenny and record executive Scott Borchetta, declared Steel Magnolia the winning duo. Steel Magnolia receives a recording contract with Big Machine Records. The duo will also film its debut music video, Tuesday, Aug. 11, and will head out on an extensive radio station tour the following day.
